Med Surg RN Job in Lincoln, NE

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical-Surgical unit at CHI Health St Elizabeth in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 17, 2026, with three 12-hour shifts per week at a weekly rate of $2,339.

Shift and Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: day shift from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, or night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call or standby requirements

Patient Care Details

• Patient ratios of 1:5–6, with a 1:6 ratio occurring at least once per week
• Common diagnoses: medical, surgical, and orthopedic cases
• Nurse aides and patient care techs available at a 1:10–12 ratio
• Charge nurse present on each shift and maintains an assignment

Unit Resources and Support

• Telemetry monitoring available on the floor with a centralized station
• Respiratory therapy available 24 hours daily
• Titratable drips limited to Heparin only
• Floating may be required to PCU or Burn units

Orientation and Requirements

• First week consists of classroom orientation followed by two 12-hour shifts on the floor
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color requirement: Navy blue
• Current BLS certification required
• BSN not required
