Med Surg RN Job in Austin, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week contract assignment on the Medical Surgical unit (3 East) at North Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX. This is a night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule.

Position Details:

• 13-week contract (91 days)
• Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• 4 weekend shifts required per month
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratio: 5:1 to 6:1
• Weekly pay: $1,522
• Start date: August 24, 2026

Unit Information:

The 28-bed Medical Surgical unit is staffed with charge nurses, RNs, and patient care technicians. You will work with specialized equipment including Video EEG, Hoyer Lift, Bladder Scanner, Vital Sign Machine, and Telemetry monitoring. The facility uses Meditech as its electronic medical record system.

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• BLS, NIHSS, and Telemetry certifications
• Hospital experience required
• 3 or more years of nursing experience preferred
• Epilepsy care experience preferred
