ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a 4x12 schedule (manager will consider 3x12s)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Patient ratio of 1:4 with ratios based on acuity
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Previous charge experience required
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI
• Skills required: General Emergency Department (Combined Adult/Pedi) and Triage
• Must be comfortable working with patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Facility sees approximately 80 visits per day across 27 rooms
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• No parking cost
• Float within scope to meet facility needs or between sister facilities may be required
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, and more
• Attendance at staff meetings is required
• Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule accommodations can be requested but are not guaranteed
