Pharmacist Inpatient Job in Fort Worth, TX

Join John Peter Smith Hospital as a Pharmacist providing clinical pharmacy services in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. You will work a 5x8 day shift schedule, with day shift hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 20, 2026, with weekly compensation of $3,820.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical support during Code Blues, including traumatic arrests, document participation, and administer necessary medications
• Attend Rapid Sequence Intubations throughout the hospital and provide necessary medications
• Respond to Code Strokes, review patient profiles, make treatment recommendations, and prepare fibrinolytics as warranted
• Attend Code Sepsis events, review patient profiles, make antibiotic recommendations, and prepare necessary medications
• Review and provide comprehensive pharmacy services for all STAT orders in the ED and ICU
• Monitor EPIC verification queue for STAT orders and those requiring clinical intervention or iVents
• Perform drug utilization reviews and monitor for drug interactions
• Assist in maintaining formulary integrity and participate in antibiotic stewardship program
• Provide pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring services to medical staff
• Evaluate potential adverse drug events and function as a clinical resource for hospital staff

Required Qualifications

• BCCCP or BCEMP board certification
• PGY2 Critical Care or ED experience OR 5 years providing clinical care in ICU and/or ED
• 1 year ASHP-accredited residency or 4 or more years of acute hospital experience
• Texas State Board of Pharmacy license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• EPIC experience
