About this role

You will work as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting at Tide Health Group - Arbor View Nursing and Rehab in Kerrville, Texas. This is a temporary position running 91 days, starting July 27, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

  • 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, daytime schedule
  • No on-call or weekend requirements
  • Weekly pay: $2,534.40

Your Clinical Responsibilities

  • Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
  • Develop appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards
  • Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on patient evaluation
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding speech disorders
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans
  • Provide comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical requirements
  • Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy
  • Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements
  • Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
  • Supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active Texas state license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Minimum 1 year of SLP experience
  • Long-term care or rehabilitation experience
  • BLS certification
  • 3 years of experience holding active CCS preferred

You will adhere to ASHA and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice.
