ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 12-bed Neuroscience ICU with a patient ratio of 2:1
• Ability to care for 4-5 patients if pulled to neuroscience stepdown unit
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 1 CNA, and 1 secretary
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 5 RNs
• Every other weekend required with no on-call responsibilities
• ICU experience required
• Experience with neuro/stroke patients required
• Neuroscience ICU experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
• Perform and assist with ventriculostomy insertion, post-thrombectomy procedures, post-TPA administration, post-tumor resection and biopsy, lumbar drain and ventric management, and Q1 hour Pupillometer monitoring
• Float within the hospital as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Scrub color: Navy
