About this role
OU Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is seeking an MRI Technologist to join their diagnostic imaging team. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026.
Schedule and Hours
- 16-hour night shifts
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- On-call hours required in addition to scheduled shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered imaging studies
- Operate specialized MRI equipment to perform a diverse range of diagnostic procedures
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members
- Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm all required elements are completed and documented
- Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
- Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and user maintenance per manufacturer guidelines
- Provide patient-centric care and support services in both acute inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain competencies
Required Qualifications
- Allied Health Professional credential
- Pediatric experience required
- Philips MRI equipment experience preferred
