MRI Technologist Job in Oklahoma City, OK

OU Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is seeking an MRI Technologist to join their diagnostic imaging team. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026.

Schedule and Hours

• 16-hour night shifts
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call hours required in addition to scheduled shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for MRI procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered imaging studies
• Operate specialized MRI equipment to perform a diverse range of diagnostic procedures
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm all required elements are completed and documented
• Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and user maintenance per manufacturer guidelines
• Provide patient-centric care and support services in both acute inpatient and outpatient settings
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain competencies

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Pediatric experience required
• Philips MRI equipment experience preferred
