Occupational Therapist Job in Detroit, MI

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a travel contract at Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan in Detroit, MI. This is a direct patient care role where you'll work with individuals to restore independence and improve functional ability across activities of daily living, work, and productive activities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Interpret physician orders and request clarification as needed
• Administer and interpret tests and measurements to assess patient functional status
• Review patient charts and treatment progress prior to each session
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response and clinical findings
• Develop functional goals aligned with patient and family expectations
• Implement interventions to develop, improve, or restore skills in ADL, work, and productive activities

Contract Details:

• Duration: 8 to 12 weeks
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8 days)
• Start Date: September 2, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,012

You'll be part of a rehabilitation-focused facility dedicated to helping patients regain function and return to meaningful roles. This role requires strong assessment and treatment planning skills, the ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, and a patient-centered approach to therapy.
