Surgical Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 89-day travel assignment at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. You will work 3x12 rotating shifts covering days, evenings, and nights, with an option to accommodate a 48-hour per week schedule.

In this role, you will scrub into a wide variety of surgical cases including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. You will work with two Da Vinci robotic systems used across multiple surgical services and support the transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of surgical technologist experience
• NBSTSA Certification required or experience as a Surgical Technologist within a healthcare facility for a cumulative period of one year or more occurring within the four years immediately prior to January 2015
• NY NBSTSA Tech License required or 10 years of experience
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
• Ability to scrub

Preferred qualifications:

• Operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center
