RN - Circulator OR

Job Details:

• Work weekend day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Overtime possible when available
• Must have OR experience in Pediatrics (Level I experience not required)
• Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients during operative or other invasive procedures
• Responsible for direct and indirect provision of professional nursing care for patients in the operating room
• Accountable for ongoing evaluation and documentation of all components of care delivered to patients within the perioperative environment utilizing the nursing process
• Individualize patient care according to patient health status, age level, and surgery or procedure being performed
• Apply clinical knowledge, judgment, and clinical reasoning skills based on scientific principles when planning and implementing nursing care
• Address the physical, psychological, and spiritual responses of patients having operative or other invasive procedures
