Job Details:

• Day shift position working 3x12s or 4x12s
• Work in an 18-bed unit providing high-quality, short-stay care to a diverse pediatric population
• Care for patients with conditions such as appendectomies, tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies, viral illnesses, ingestions requiring medical clearance, and behavioral health concerns with underlying medical needs
• Unit features two distinct sides that support efficient patient flow and team collaboration
• Medical/surgical experience required; behavioral/psychiatric and pediatrics experience preferred
• Must be willing to care for patients with behavioral health needs
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience required
• Must hold both a Missouri or compact license and a Kansas license
• Required certifications: PALS and BLS (AHA only - RQI certifications not accepted)
• May float between the main Kansas City, MO campus and the sister hospital located in Overland Park, KS, approximately 12 miles southwest
• Medication/dosage test administered during first week requiring 100% passing score with up to 3 attempts
