Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 24-bed Surgical/Trauma unit (2 South) specializing in post-operative and trauma patients
• Patient ratios of 1:5 with a maximum of 1:6
• Unit support includes 1 unit secretary on days and 2 techs on days and nights
• Equipment used includes Hill Rom, Pyxis, and Welch Allyn
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Every other weekend required
• Floating policy based on house needs
• Minimum 2 years of med/surg or orthopedic experience required
• Experience in post-operative care and trauma preferred
• Post-op care management with multidisciplinary team
• Active RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs with black, white, or royal blue jackets allowed
• Pathways available for individual surgeons and physicians as a resource for easy orientation and familiarity
