ED RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Banner Estrella Medical Center, located at 9201 W Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ. This is a travel nursing assignment lasting 89 days, beginning August 24, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts
• Weekly pay: $2,446.20

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical direction
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise healthcare team activities to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise care plans as needed
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership initiatives
• Contribute to improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes
• Precept and mentor facility personnel, patients, students, families, and visitors as appropriate

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the ED specialty
• Required certifications: BLS, TNCC, NIH
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
