Pharmacist Inpatient Job in New Bern, NC

You will work as a Pharmacist in the Inpatient Pharmacy department at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern, NC. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with no obligation for conversion.

Role Overview

Your primary focus will be in the Oncology IV Room within the Cancer Center Pharmacy department. You will manage pharmacy operations, coordinate inpatient medication therapy, and demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate to the disease states and patient populations served. You will assess patient data, interpret clinical information, and identify patient care requirements. Floating within the hospital as needed is expected.

Schedule and Duration

You will work five 8-hour days per week on day shift. Most hours are set during the week with call-back availability when necessary. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026. Weekly pay is $3,312.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy program with current state licensure
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience
• Prior Cancer Center experience highly preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC and pharmacy computer systems required after training period
• Ability to understand principles of growth and development across the life span
• Two professional references from assignments within the last year
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
