Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating on-call responsibilities for after hours, weekends, and holidays
• Possible shift windows based on unit needs: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Must be able to function independently in all areas of Endoscopy, including advanced endoscopy procedures
• Required proficiency in EUS, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and EBUS procedures
• Required skills in ION Robot Pulmonary procedures
• Expertise in bariatric procedures is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Endoscopy specialty required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• Compact or Louisiana nursing license required
• Required skills include: administering and monitoring conscious sedation, airway management, colonoscopy, EGD, EBUS, EUS, ERCP, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, propofol administration, pre/post procedure care, specimen handling and labeling, starting and maintaining IVs, and use of reversal agents
• Must be able to travel to facility from more than 65 miles away
