Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• 3x12 shifts, 6:15 AM to 6:45 PM with rotating start times as needed
• Monday through Friday schedule with weekend call requirements
• On-call required as needed, typically 3-4 weekday and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule, may vary based on unit needs
• Official turnaround time of 40 minutes from call to clock-in required
• Will float within service line as needed
• Holidays required as needed, discussed in advance
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• 2 years of CVOR experience required; 1 year considered if Level 1 Trauma Facility experience
• Must have experience in circulating cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Scrub experience required; circulate experience required
• Cardiac and thoracic cases are primary focus
• Additional case types include vascular (open and endovascular procedures), transplant (liver, kidney, pancreas), and pancreatic procedures
• BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with emergent cases
• Responsible for entering missing instruments into the CensiTrac system
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS
• Dress code: Navy scrubs
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility; local candidates not accepted
