ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights)
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Average daily census of 130-150 patients per day
• 21 rooms and 31 beds in the emergency department
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers with 2-3 years of experience will be considered
• Epic or Cerner experience preferred for first-time travelers
• Documentation system: Cerner (preferred but not required)
• Medication system: Omnicell
• Scrubs provided
• Orientation: 36-48 hours
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Required skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, CVA management, general emergency department care for combined adult and pediatric patients, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions and PPE, IV vasopressors, pediatric emergency department care, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, starting and maintaining IVs, and triage
