MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM
• No on-call, no weekends, and no holidays required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Candidates must be located more than 75 miles from the facility
• Epic charting experience is a hard requirement
• Candidates will be required to float
• Required certifications: ARRT-R, BLS, and MRI Certification
• New York State License required and must be in hand prior to start
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 2 during days and 1 during nights
• Approximately 20 patient visits per day
• Hoyer Lift experience required
• Proficiency in a wide range of MRI skills including adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ER/trauma, brain, spine, musculoskeletal, and contrast administration
• Experience with T-1 and T-2 weighted images, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, PACS, and isolation precautions/PPE required
