CVOR Technologist Job in Sachse, TX

You will work as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the Cardiovascular Operating Room at Medical City Sachse. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 19, 2026, on a 4x10 day shift schedule (6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Role Overview

You will support surgical teams in a 1:1 patient ratio environment. The day shift operates with 2 registered nurses and 2 certified surgical technologists. Night shift is call-only. You will be on-call one day each week and one weekend per month (Friday through Sunday). On-call commitment averages 10–15 days monthly due to current case volume; this requirement may decrease as staffing and case volume increase.

Required Experience and Certification

You must hold current NBSTSA CST certification. You will need hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Robotics
• Orthopedics
• Spine
• Podiatry
• Endoscopy (colonoscopy and EGD)

Typical Procedures

You will assist with procedures including robotic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, total joint replacements, laminectomy, kyphoplasty, and carpal tunnel surgery.

Facility Details

The Surgery unit is located on the 1st floor. The facility uses Meditech Expanse for electronic medical records.

Compensation and Schedule

You will earn $1,536 weekly. The assignment runs 91 days with a 4x10 day shift structure.
