About this role

Banner North Colorado Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a travel assignment running for 89 days, starting July 27, 2026.

Position Details

  • Weekly pay: $2,446.20

Your Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
  • Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
  • Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific and medical needs
  • Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
  • Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise the plan of care as needed
  • Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in patient records
  • Participate in unit and facility shared leadership; support education, role development, and staff orientation
  • May float to support additional facility locations as needed

Requirements

  • Current, valid RN license
  • Colorado CAPS required
  • Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience with experience within the past 12 months in the Emergency Department specialty
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH
  • Telemetry verification required upon facility arrival
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and meet physical demands including standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and stretching frequently
  • Must use standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids
  • Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred

Schedule includes every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation.
