RN - Emergency

Job Details:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies and procedures
• Monitor and evaluate patient functional status throughout care delivery
• Complete patient assessments and individualize plans of care within established unit and nursing guidelines
• Organize, prioritize, and perform nursing skills appropriate for the patient population
• Demonstrate professional judgment in response to changing patient and unit situations
• Document nursing process and care steps accurately, concisely, and legibly using correct medical terminology
• Facilitate patient teaching and discharge planning with timely and appropriate referrals
• Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines and professionals as appropriate
• Utilize Epic electronic health records system
• 2+ years of emergency nursing experience required
• Working knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways required
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC
