Medical Technologist Job in Lawrenceville, GA

Northside Hospital Gwinnett is seeking a Medical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia. You will work the night shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with every third weekend required.

Position Overview

You will perform clinical laboratory work including specimen testing and analysis in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role requires hands-on experience with blood bank procedures and proficiency in specimen collection and processing for diagnostic purposes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist
• Blood Bank experience required
• Current certifications: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS
• Preferred clinical lab setting experience for specimen testing and analysis

Schedule Details

• Shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour nights (10:30 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every third weekend required
• Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day)
• Must work 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
