Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Nursing in Saint Louis, Missouri. This is a 12-week travel contract with 4x12 night shifts, earning $3,017.09 per week. You'll care for adult and geriatric patients and will be responsible for telemetry monitoring and a patient ratio of 1:4–5.

Key responsibilities include:

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac monitoring
• IV therapy including peripheral lines, PICC lines, and central line care
• Medication administration including IV insulin, heparin protocols, cardiac drips (non-titrated), PCA, and thrombolytic agents
• Blood product administration and phlebotomy
• Feeding tube care and management
• Pre- and post-hemodialysis management and port access
• Oxygen delivery including nasal cannula, face masks, and portable tanks
• Ortho trauma, traction, and isolation precautions
• Substance withdrawal support
• Float within the service line as needed

Requirements and preferences:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Must pass Relias EKG exam
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Charge experience preferred
• First-time travelers welcome
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility

Unit details: You'll work 36 guaranteed hours per week with every other weekend required and no on-call obligations. The facility uses EPIC for charting. Wear navy blue scrubs. Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary.
