PACU RN Job in Richmond, VA

Join CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This 91-day travel assignment runs from October 5, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,125.

Shift Details

• Day shift: 5x8 schedule, 11:00 AM–8:30 PM
• Day shift options include 9, 10, and 12-hour shifts with start times at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 12:00 PM
• Night shift on-call begins after 9:30 PM
• Weekday on-call: 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM; weekend call: 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, rotating among staff
• No floating to other units

Clinical Responsibilities

• Patient ratios: 2:1 standard, 1:1 for unstable ICU patients, 1:1 for pediatric patients
• Setting up PCA pumps, drip titration, and arterial line blood draws
• Ventilator management, Philips and GE monitor operation, Sigma Spectrum pump use
• EMR system: Meditech

Requirements

• PACU or ICU experience required
• Strong neuro background required
• Ventilator competency required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• ICU or PACU experience preferred
• Drip titration experience preferred
• Neurosurgery experience preferred
