Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Details:

• 5 x 8-hour shifts per week with weekend rotation
• Scheduling may range from Monday through Friday or Friday through Tuesday
• Day shift patient ratio of 4 patients; weekend patient ratio of 2 patients
• Treat a wide range of patient diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary conditions
• Work with patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform evaluations, assessments, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and functional mobility training
• Provide care for total joint replacement patients, pacemaker and stent patients
• Utilize adaptive devices, assistive devices, Hoyer lifts, gait belts, and specialty beds
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care including short-term and long-term goals
• Provide patient and family education including home exercise programs
• Charting experience required; Allscripts/Altera experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care physical therapy required
• BLS certification required
• License in hand required at time of submittal
