Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour shifts with days of the week varying
• Float between South Campus and Tucson Campus as needed
• Call required with 5-8 call shifts including late call, overnights, and weekends
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Phillips imaging and Phillips Xper-hemodynamics equipment experience preferred
• Cath Lab with EP (Electrophysiology) experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical plan of care
• Delegate and supervise activities of health care team members, including licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record
• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting required, with experience in the specialty area within the past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• May be required to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids
