RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call responsibilities required with varied 6 to 10 call shifts per schedule with a 30-minute response time
• 3 shifts per week in an acute care setting
• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Holidays worked on a rotation basis
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Unit consists of 3 main cath lab beds, 1 EP lab, and 1 hybrid room handling both vascular and cardiac cases
• 10 to 25 cases per day including interventional, EP lab, peripheral, cardiology and vascular, MitraClip, TAVR, IABP, and EMTALA placement procedures
• RNs will circulate; no scrubbing required for RNs
• Charting systems used: Cerner and Xper
• Equipment used: Phillips and Siemens
• Telemetry system: Phillips
• Respiratory therapy available 24/7
• Pharmacy available 24/7
• 2-day floor-specific orientation provided
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia Exam prior to contract start with a minimum passing score of 80% (two attempts allowed)
• Must complete SIMs Lab evaluation including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes (pass/fail)
• Must maintain sterile field competency
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• Arizona RN license required
• Level I trauma experience required
