Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting May 25, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 x 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Weekly pay: $2,774
• On-call requirements: 7–9 calls per month, including one weekend day (additional call pickup available if interested)
• Must respond to hospital within 30 minutes for STEMI calls

Patient Care & Clinical Expectations

• Patient ratio: 3:1
• Responsibilities include circulating, patient monitoring, and management of high-risk equipment including Impella, IABP, and Anaphoresis devices
• Exposure to STEMI cases, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR) procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years clinical experience (less considered)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Demonstrated competency in cath lab circulating and patient monitoring
• Familiarity with STEMI protocols and high-risk equipment operation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in electrophysiology and/or interventional radiology
• Prior travel nursing assignments
