OR RN Job in Nashville, TN

Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 182-day travel assignment beginning October 26, 2026. You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week at $2,472 weekly pay, assigned to the Thoracic/Vascular Team in a 56-bed OR with five procedural rooms.

Schedule and Expectations

• Monday through Friday shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (specific days vary based on unit needs; block schedule is not available)
• Late stays required approximately four times per 13-week contract; coverage may extend beyond your scheduled shift end time until night shift teams are available or rooms close
• Float within the OR may be required, but not between locations
• Limited time off; you are expected to work two of three holidays

Clinical Requirements

• Thoracic/vascular experience required; all circulators and scrubs must be proficient in endovascular cases
• Must be able to scrub and have scrub experience
• Minimum two years of OR experience required
• Prior travel experience required

Facility Overview

Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital is a Level 1 trauma facility. You'll work with adult patients only (no pediatrics) across all case types: neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, hybrid rooms (cysto, bronch, and lead extraction), ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary.

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• Tennessee or compact nursing license
• RN degree
