Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (days during the week will vary depending on the needs of the unit; block schedule is not available)
• Assigned to the Thoracic/Vascular Team within a 56-bed OR (inpatient and outpatient) with 5 procedural rooms
• Thoracic/vascular experience is required; all circulators and scrubs must be proficient in endovascular cases
• Must be able to scrub and have scrub experience
• Late stays required based on the needs of the unit; travelers will take approximately four late stays per 13-week contract
• Late stay coverage may extend beyond scheduled shift end time until night shift teams are available or rooms close down
• Float within the OR may be required but not between locations
• Patient population is adult only; no pediatrics
• All case types supported including neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, hybrid rooms (cysto, bronch, and lead extraction), ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary
• Level 1 trauma facility
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Time off is limited; expected to work 2 of 3 holidays
• Required certifications: BLS
• Tennessee or compact nursing license required
