Medical Lab Technician Job in Orem, UT

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Lab Technician for a 13-week travel assignment at Timpanogos Regional Medical Center in Orem, Utah. This is a direct patient-care opportunity in a free-standing emergency department lab setting.

Role Overview

You will focus primarily on point-of-care (POC) testing, performing lab analyses at the patient bedside or in the ED lab to support rapid diagnostic decision-making. You will also handle clerical duties as assigned by nursing and the lab director to support the facility's emergency department operations.

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: 4 days per week, 12 hours per day (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
• Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
• Start date: September 21, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,148

Requirements

• ASCP certification required: MLS (Medical Laboratory Scientist), CLS (Clinical Laboratory Scientist), or Medical Technologist credential
• MLS or MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) certification through ASCP or equivalent
• Point-of-care testing knowledge preferred
