Medical Lab Technician Job in Draper, UT

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Lab Technician for a travel assignment at Lone Peak Hospital in Draper, UT. This is a 13-week contract running through mid-December 2026, with a start date of September 21, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work in the Freestanding Emergency Room Lab, with your primary responsibility being point-of-care (POC) testing. You will perform POC testing procedures and may be asked to assist with clerical duties as assigned by the Nursing and Lab Director to support Freestanding Emergency Department operations.

Schedule and Compensation

This position operates on a 4x12 days schedule, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You will earn $2,452.80 per week.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential (Medical Lab Technician)
• ASCP certification required—MLS (Medical Laboratory Scientist), CLS (Clinical Laboratory Scientist), or Medical Technologist
• MLS or MLT certification through ASCP or equivalent
• Point-of-care testing knowledge preferred

Assignment Details

This 13-week contract is based on a confirmed start date of September 21, 2026. Extended contract options of up to 26 weeks may be available depending on facility needs and your interest in continuing the assignment.
