Medical Lab Technician Job in Orem, UT

You will perform point-of-care (POC) testing in a free-standing emergency department lab setting at Timpanogos Regional Medical Center. This is a 13-week travel position offering hands-on laboratory work in a focused, fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform point-of-care testing using POC devices
• Complete clerical duties as assigned by nursing and lab director to support free-standing emergency department operations
• Work alongside a clinical team including RNs, paramedics, MD, and radiology tech in a 10-bed facility

Schedule and Duration

• 3x12 night shifts: Thursday–Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
• 13-week contract (91 days)
• Start date: November 2, 2026
• No on-call requirements
• Mixed weekend schedule

Compensation

• $1,745 per week

Requirements

• Full Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) licensure—associate-level credentials will not be accepted
• Required certification: ASCP (MLS, CLS, or MT Medical Technologist)
• Point-of-care knowledge preferred
