Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Variable shift ranging between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM
• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Professional certification through NBSTSA or NCCT required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• High school diploma required
• Completion of a surgical technology program required
• Computer literacy required
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work within a 7-room surgical environment with a daily census of 45
• Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures including orthopedic, laparoscopic, gynecological, spinal, urological, and general surgery cases
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
• Skills in aseptic technique, instrument processing, flexible endoscope reprocessing, and laser and radiation safety required
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, interpretation services, and unit secretary
