Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Accept either a 5x8 schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM or a 4x10 schedule from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Call coverage required Monday through Friday from 3:15 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends 24 hours Saturday and Sunday
• Two techs work together to cover call based on their preference
• Every other weekend required
• Minimum 4 years of experience required; candidates with 2-3 years of strong experience will be considered
• Travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Medication systems used: Accudose and Omnicell
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Communication system: SBAR
• Required certification: BLS
• Must be proficient in a wide range of surgical procedures including CVOR, CABG, TAVR, robotic surgery, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, and general surgical cases
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Daily census of 25 patients across 17 operating rooms
• Patients served are adults
