PACU Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Northside Hospital Atlanta. This is a travel position lasting 110 days, starting September 21, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
• Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
• Weekly pay: $1,784.15
• You must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Call coverage on holidays is required

Your Role

You will care for higher acuity post-operative patients across multiple surgical specialties, including thoracic, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, urology, and general surgery. The unit operates 24 hours, 7 days a week and is overseen by a Charge Nurse and Supervisor. You will use the Cerner electronic health record system.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
• AHA ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
