Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit (3 Tower/622) in Tower A
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-5 RNs based on census, 2 PCTs, 1 HUC, and 1-3 sitters
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-5 RNs based on census, 2 PCTs, and 1-3 sitters depending on patient population
• Floating requirement based on the needs of the hospital
• No on-call requirement
• Utilize equipment including Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and bladder scanners
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Perform and assist with post-surgical care including cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement
• Manage pain management patients and CIWA patients
• BLS certification required
• Minimum RN Med Surg or acute care experience required
• Previous Med Surg or acute care experience preferred
• Fast-paced, high-energy environment requiring an outgoing personality
