ICU RN Job in Wichita, KS

You will work as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. This is a 12-week travel assignment beginning September 7, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,349.

Assignment Details:

• Work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Specialize in acute care ICU nursing with focus on critical cardiovascular and hemodynamic support

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Monitor and care for patients on balloon pumps, CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy), and hypothermia devices
• Assist with or perform procedures including heart catheterizations, balloon pump management, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia, cardioversion, and central line placement
• Administer and monitor medication drips and vasoactive medications
• Document patient care using the Meditech EMR system
• Maintain organized, efficient, and driven approach to patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital ICU experience
• BLS certification (current)
• ACLS certification (current)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous travel assignments in large facility ICU settings

You will be expected to demonstrate a positive attitude, high engagement with the care team, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced critical care environment.
