Cath Lab Technologist Job in Snellville, GA

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 98-week travel assignment. This role offers a 4x10 day shift schedule with weekly pay of $2,751, beginning August 17, 2026.

Role Overview

You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures in a 3-room cath lab with 5 beds, serving an average daily census of 8–10 patients and managing 5–10 daily cases. The patient population includes adults and geriatric patients.

Procedure Experience

• Diagnostic catheterization, PCI, and orbital atherectomy
• IABP and Impella support
• Device implants
• Note: EP studies and ablations are not performed at this facility

Required Skills and Credentials

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience with documented travel history
• BLS, ACLS, and one of the following: RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV
• Hemodynamic monitoring, EKG lead placement, vital sign collection, and rhythm interpretation
• Pacemaker experience preferred

Equipment and Systems

• Required: GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, and CSI equipment
• Charting: Epic (required); Pyxis and Merge (preferred)
• Scrubs provided by facility

Scheduling and Time Off

• Every other weekend required
• 10 call days per month
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission
• Holiday expectations: If 1–2 major holidays fall during your assignment, you work all of them. If 3 major holidays fall during your assignment, you work 2 of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Floating required within department, facility, and potentially to sister campus

First-time travelers are not accepted for this position. Travel experience is required.
