Med Surg RN Job in Aurora, CO

HCA HealthONE Spalding Rehabilitation is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in Aurora, Colorado. You will work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule, earning $1,708.20 per week.

Role Overview

As part of the rehab nursing team, you will provide direct patient care with a patient ratio of 6:1. The night shift consists of a charge nurse, 3–5 RNs, and 2 PCTs working collaboratively to support patient recovery and comfort. Your responsibilities include wound care, patient transfers, IV placement, and blood draws. You will document patient information in the Meditech EMR system and advocate for patient needs throughout your shift.

Key Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience as a Rehab or Med/Surg RN
• BLS certification
• IV and blood draw skills
• Willingness to float between two campuses as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with rehab patient populations
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Flexible scheduling availability
• Strong patient advocacy and compassionate care approach
