Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift schedule
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Self-scheduling model - manager will explain during call; desired schedule not guaranteed but will be accommodated as best as possible
• Work exclusively within the children's hospital across all units including NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics
• Must have Level 4 NICU experience
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Must be competent in caring for patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics
• Must be competent in the use of both the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills required for multidisciplinary team environment
• Candidates will be asked to float within their scope of practice within the facility
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, RRT, Virginia State License
• PALS and ACCS preferred
• Virginia license required; may submit with pending license provided a temp license can be obtained before start date; must have another state license to be eligible for temp license
