Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Asheville, NC

You will work as an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment running from September 20, 2026, on a day shift schedule of 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday (5x8 hours per week). Your weekly pay is $3,155.

Role and Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in an Interventional Radiology unit located on Floor K2 in K Tower Building
• Support procedures in 2 single plane (GE) rooms and 2 biplane (Philips) rooms, plus one invasive CT scanner
• Manage a 1:1 patient ratio during day shift operations
• Assist with dialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams), nephrostomy tubes, arteriograms, embolizations, Y-90 procedures, gastrostomy tubes, TIPS, Inari cases, cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipeline placements, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties
• Work with Cerner (Radnet) EMR system
• Float to Vascular OR as needed

Staffing and Schedule

• Day shift: 2 techs per room and 1 nurse per room
• On-call requirements include every 7th weekend and one night secondary call during the week
• Hospital provides scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Previous Interventional Radiology experience with scrub and circulate skills
• Previous neurointerventional Radiology experience with scrub and circulate skills
• BLS certification required
• VI Registered certification preferred
• Vascular OR experience preferred
• Cath Lab experience preferred
