Pediatrics RN Job in Tucson, AZ

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced RN for a travel position in General Pediatrics at BUMC Tucson (1625 N Campbell Ave). This 89-day assignment begins November 16, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3x12 Days, $2,300 weekly
• Specialty: General Pediatrics with potential floating to PICU, NICU, and Pediatric Oncology for low acuity patients, or Pediatric surge spaces in the ED or PACU as needed
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute hospital experience in Pediatrics required
• Candidates without previous travel experience must have experience floating

Core Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel as appropriate
• Document all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record
• Provide care based on best available evidence and participate in unit or facility shared leadership activities

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids
