CVOR Technologist

Opportunity:

Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call required 2 weekends per month and 2 weekdays per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays)
• On-call coverage includes Kendall and Mercy locations
• At times, coverage may be required across 3 hospitals: Mercy, Kendall, and Aventura
• Day shift hours: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM; Night shift hours: 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Work within a CVOR unit performing procedures including CABGs, AVR, MVR, Thoracotomy, ECMO, Pacemakers, Trach, and MAZE
• Document using Meditech system
• Operate CVOR equipment
• On-call and scheduled assignments are pending surgeon's approval of candidate's ability to perform independently
• Scrubs are provided in the OR
• Required certification: Surgical Tech Certification
