Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour or 10-hour rotating shifts totaling 40 hours per week, adjusted per unit needs to meet guaranteed hours
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• On-call requirement is mandatory
• Every other weekend (EOW) scheduling required
• First to float between Bryan and College Station campus (approximately 16 minutes apart) as needed
• Perform cardiac studies, HIDA scans, bone scans, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, and DAT scans
• Average of 12 scans/studies per day including 2 cardiac scans
• Start IVs as required
• Work with Siemens Symbia T6 imaging equipment
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Fuji Synapse PACS, and NMIS systems
• Work in acute care setting within the Radiology - Nuclear Medicine department
• Wear black scrubs per dress code requirements
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT), Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT)
• Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination
