Physical Therapist Job in Muskogee, OK

You will work as a Physical Therapist at Muskogee Campus - Xavier Building, where you will deliver direct patient care and lead physical therapy services. This position runs 5 days per week on a day shift schedule for an 89-week assignment beginning August 17, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Initiate and administer appropriate physical therapy treatments while progressing patient care in alignment with productivity standards
• Evaluate patients accurately and plan appropriate treatment programs
• Set and meet functional goals, revising and progressing treatment programs as goals are achieved
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation including treatment records and accurate daily patient charges completed same day
• Provide patient and family instruction and education, following care path guidelines for home programs
• Schedule and prioritize daily work assignments, delegating patients to RPTAs or support personnel as appropriate
• Assist with orientation and training of new physical therapy employees and students as requested
• Attend 90% of scheduled in-services and departmental meetings
• Maintain technical expertise through continuing education activities and departmental in-services
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and staff through direct patient interaction and internal and external communication

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• Valid State of Oklahoma licensure or Temporary Letter of Authorization to practice Physical Therapy
• BLS certification
• 0 to 6 months of related experience
