Job Details:

• Varied work schedule with required weekend shifts and an assigned holiday
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care, including discharge planning, in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel as appropriate
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and support education, orientation, and mentoring of staff, students, and families
• Actively participate in the improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes
• Minimum one year of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse required, with experience in specialty area within the past 12 months
• Current, valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
