NICU RN Job in Gilbert, Arizona

You'll work as a registered nurse in the NICU at Banner Gateway Medical Center, located at 1900 N Higley Rd in Gilbert, Arizona. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026, with a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week. Your weekly pay is $2,541.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Performing comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, including discharge planning
• Reviewing patient histories, diagnostic results, and laboratory data, and reporting abnormal findings to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulating and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegating and supervising activities of licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel
• Evaluating patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Maintaining accurate, legible, and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Participating in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives to improve national nursing quality indicators
• Precepting and mentoring facility personnel, patients, students, families, and visitors as appropriate

Required Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting, with experience in the specialty area within the past 12 months
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
