Med Surg Neuro RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking an RN for a Medical-Surgical Neuro position. You will provide direct patient care on a unit dedicated to neurological and medical-surgical patients, working within a collaborative healthcare team.

Position Details:

• Shift: Night rotation, 12.5 hours per shift (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: Every other weekend; every other holiday
• Duration: 182 days
• Start date: August 10, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,259

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in a medical-surgical neuro setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout your shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Document care accurately and thoroughly
• Float to West Campus as needed to support facility operations

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Willingness to work night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays
• Flexibility to float between units as assigned
