Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Denton, TX

Medical City Denton is seeking an RN for its Cardiac Cath Lab. You will work 4 days per week on 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with rotating on-call responsibilities covering approximately 50% of the month after hours and weekends.

Role and Environment

• Circulate in a procedure area with 2 cardiac catheterization labs, 1 electrophysiology lab, and 1 interventional neuro lab
• Manage 1:1 patient ratios during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology procedures
• Operate specialized equipment: Temporary Pacemaker, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella, Penumbra, Shockwave, IVUS, IFR, and GE Mac Lab monitoring/Innova imaging systems
• Use Mac Lab and Meditech EMR systems

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS certification
• Circulating experience in a cardiac catheterization lab
• Experience or willingness to work with electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and interventional neuro procedures preferred

• Dress code: Seal blue scrubs
