RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Provide direct patient and family support and nursing care within full scope of practice
• Participate in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services for patients, families, and the community
• Observe, collect data, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs
• Develop and maintain individualized and ongoing plans of care for each patient
• Work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Care primarily for surgical patients including joint replacements, hip fractures, open abdominal surgeries, and neck and back surgeries
• Also provide care for some medical patients on the unit
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed but will be accommodated when possible
